Chime in: Do You Think Microsoft Will Ever Release Surface 'Andromeda'?

Will Andromeda ever come out? We want to know your thoughts!

Over the last week or so, several reports have cast doubt on whether Microsoft's Surface Andromeda will ever see the light. According to rumors, Microsoft is considering canceling the Andromeda project completely. According to our sources, however, things are not so depressing. Microsoft has delayed the launch of Andromeda so that it has more time to work on the operating system of Andromeda, but Andromeda itself has not been canceled, at least not yet.

Microsoft will also use the extra time to talk to the developers and try to get some important names in the Microsoft store with applications that work on Andromeda. Therefore, as of now, the only "bad" news is that Andromeda is being delayed, which is common for the course of many internal Microsoft projects these days. This delay should generate a much better product when / if it is finally released, which is good.

Hi Dan, it seems that several websites report that Andromeda has been canceled as part of the recent shake-up of the Windows division. How precise do you think these reports are? Is it likely that the Andromeda form factor will still be alive if the Third Parties take the mantle?
But we want to know what you think. Do you think that Microsoft will ever find the courage to launch another mobile device? We know that there are many people internally who would love to take Andromeda outdoors, but at the same time, there are many reasons for Microsoft not to go ahead with something like this. If Microsoft can not improve the application gap within the next year or so, it is possible that Andromeda does not have a stage to stand.

Of course, although Andromeda has not yet been canceled, that does not mean that Microsoft will not cancel it in the future. Microsoft may decide to cancel at any time, but that has not happened yet. Hopefully Microsoft can change things on the software side before it's too late.
